Personal: A three-time Pan American Infantile Champion, Lambert won a bronze medal at the U.S. Open as a 14-year-old – an impressive feat for any young athlete, but even more so as the event was only the second major senior event in which Lambert had competed.  In April 2007, Lambert moved up to the #1 U.S. ranking in the division and three weeks later won the USA Judo Senior National Championships, defeating two of the 2006 Pan Am Team members in the process.
